Hope have always supported local bikes shops, so we figured it was time to shine the light on our HB dealers and get to know them a little better. We asked each dealer the same 10 questions…First up, its Hayley and Greg from Peddlers Cycles.

1) What’s your shop called and, where in the country are you?
Peddlers Cycles, we are situated in Redcar, on the North East Coast of England.
2) Who’s on the team?
Greg, Hayley, Bobby, Alex and Fraser
3) How long have you been in business and what got you into the bike trade?
I have always had a massive passion for bikes, working in a shop from 13 years old I always knew I wanted to have my own shop with all the best gear in it.
4) What trails do you have on your doorstep?
We have natural trails at Guisborough Woods and Errington woods both on our doorstep. We also have Danny Hart’s Descend Park at Hamsterley Forest with manmade downhill trails at hamsterley forest at a short drive away.
5) When did you first start selling our components?
17 years ago I was over the moon to start a partnership with Hope.
6) What made you want to sell the HB bikes?
The HB is such a premium product and the fact it is made in UK by such a reputable company. Also love the fact it is so niche.
7) How has the HB range gone down instore?
The HB is an absolute showstopper on display in Peddlers, people come from far and wide just to drool over it. Also having the HB in store gives a good display of all the Hope products so customers can see how they look on a bike.
8) Customers that have bought a HB have done so because…?
They want to be different, they want the finest quality and/or they are an enthusiast of all Hope products.
9) What sets you apart from your competition?
At Peddlers we offer a quality service, every member of staff is so passionate about bikes.
10) How can customers interested in a HB get in touch with you?
Face to face is always the best way to place an order, the kettle is always on and you will receive optimum service this way. However, when this is not possible, we will be more than happy to speak to clients over the phone, e-mail, or our easy to use website and social media.
