As a first resort, you should contact your retailer to report any faults. Items returned to Hope Technology through your retailer is at the expense of the retailer. Postage for items sent directly is covered by the sender

This includes R4+, R2, R2i, R8+ and any ES lithium ion battery which has a fuel gauge.

If there is a fault with the battery pack:
If the fault involves the battery pack, IT MUST BE SENT WITH THE APPROPRIATE LAMP UNIT, VIA A COURIER IN A UN APPROVED BOX. WE DO NOT SUPPLY THE BOX. It is your responsibility to ensure that the battery is packaged, labelled and shipped in accordance with the transport regulations. Any repair work carried out on items without a proof of purchase will be carried out at our discretion and may be charged for before being returned.

If the fault does not involve the battery and is only concerning a lamp unit, charger or accessory:
The unit(s) may be returned to either your retailer or Hope Technology with a completed light specific service/warranty form, preferably in the original box, or if this is not available in strong, rigid packaging with inner packaging material to prevent the contents from moving during transit. Any work carried out on items without a proof of purchase may be charged for before being returned.
