One factory:
You won’t find a Hope product that hasn’t been developed, prototyped, tested, machined, anodised and assembled right in our home of Barnoldswick. We even manufacture the moulds for our carbon products and lay up each layer of carbon fibre by hand. Every step of the process under one roof (now with solar panels fitted) in Lancashire. Join us on a tea break or after work ride and you’ll find designers chatting to machinists; each and every one passionate about improving the way we work.
From brake levers to pedal cleats to carbon frames our unique in-house approach minimises air miles and exploits the decades of expertise we hold.
Where possible we source all our raw materials from the UK – including all our carbon – and whatever doesn’t end up in a finished product is recycled.
Made to Last:
A sustainable product goes much further than efficient production however. It has always been our mission to build components that last; it is the right thing to do for your wallet, the planet and our pride.
For a Hope Technology component to make it through to production it has to survive testing in the worst conditions that the north of England has to offer. For us durability is key; we want your experience to be fit, forget and enjoy the ride. That’s why you’ll find the best sealed bearings and precision engineered construction across our range.
Oh, and we only introduce a new component, or refresh a favourite when we believe we can offer a genuine improvement on what is already out there. Say no to annual product cycles, and yes to just getting out on your cycle.

Built for Service:
We also know that many of you like to get your own hands dirty when it comes to maintenance, so we publish full service instructions and how-to videos on our website.
You won’t find any planned obsolescence at Hope Technology. We still hold spares for all our current brakes and most of our older ones too. We love to hear stories of customers.
Warranty:
We love a challenge, and our warranty and service department has decades of combined experience. We will always try to find a way to revive even the most sorry looking cases; whether that involves a full service or repairs or some out of the box thinking to get you back on the trails.
