Returning to World Cup Downhill with MS Racing

26.03.2025

After seven years away from team sponsorship, Hope Technology is making a return to the World Cup Downhill scene—this time as a key partner of MS Racing for the 2025 season.

Hope will be equipping the team with its latest brakes, discs, and wheels—proven, precision-engineered components built for the demands of World Cup racing. As MS Racing enters its 22nd season, they will have Hope’s full support to stay at the sharp end.

“Downhill racing has always been in Hope’s DNA, and we’re super excited to return to the scene with MS Racing. This partnership gives us the chance to work with, not only some of the fastest riders on the circuit but also with the team behind them under the common goal to develop our parts and go as fast as possible!”
Ian Weatherill, Hope Technology Managing Director

“We haven‘t been looking for just a sponsor, but a company where we can build a real partnership. And in Hope Technology we’ve found a company that not only provides high-end products, but that can also help us with new product developments and fast prototyping, which is key for high-end racing in the Whoop Mountain bike World Series.”
Markus Stöckl Team Owner

The rider’s view:

Eleonora Farina
“I’m happy to work with the iconic Hope Tech brand this year. I always liked the sounds of Hope hubs and the components overall gives me the feeling of something built with love and passion. Stoked to start the new season also with them!!!”

Jacob Dickson
“It’s class to be on such a cool brand as Hope! I always remember growing up and seeing the bling hubs, and all that my dad and friends had, and that, I’ve always dreamt of getting.”

Tuhoto-Ariki Pene

“I haven’t had mine long here, I’ve ridden them 2 days on the trail bike and they are sick, its so sick to be riding a brand with such a history.  The braking power is awesome, gives me time to brake later into stuff like corners. And just an overall solid brake, I think the fact they’re designed and built in the UK, give you you that quality you can trust.”

Based in Barnoldswick, UK, Hope continues to design, test, and manufacture all its products in-house. Returning to the World Cup circuit highlights the brand’s passion for the sport and its mission to develop world-class components.
