Disc Rotors Tech Specs >
Standard rotors:
- Standard rotors are laser cut from a sheet of custom steel for fantastic durability
- New design with wider braking surface to make them more compatible with other companies brakes
- If you have an old/odd rotor you are looking to replace there's a good chance we could have something to suit
- Available in:140, 160, 180, 183, 185, 200, 203, 205, 220 and 225mm
- Different bolt fixings available to fit a wide range of hub designs
- Weight 180mm: 142g
Floating rotors:
- Popular amongst both performance orientated riders and those just looking for something a little different
- New design with wider braking surface to make them more compatible with other companies brakes
- Custom steel braking surface riveted to an aluminium central carrier
- Available in: 140, 160, 180, 183, 200, 203, 220 and 205mm
- Floating design deals with changes in temperature
- Available in our six colour options
- Weight 180mm: 146g
Vented rotors:
- The vented rotor is designed specifically for our Tech V series brakes
- The rotor uses internal fins to allow the air to flow between the two friction parts
- The induced air flow significantly reduces heat build up in the rotor
- Fantastic and consistent braking performance in wet conditions thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through its fins
- Dyno tests show up to 15% less heat build up compared to our floating rotors
- Weight 203mm: 288g
180, 183 or 185? :
- Over the years there has been some confusion over this "middle" sized disc. Although we will continue to manufacture 183mm discs and their corresponding H and J mounts, we have decided to standardise on the more common 180mm disc size. This requires the use of two new mounts: L- Standard post mount to post mount (180mm) and N-IS rear to post mount (180mm)
